Countryside homes where dogs are welcome

All our houses accept animals, at one single rate. What changes from one address to the next is the playground your beloved animals get: three are fully enclosed, two are partly enclosed, one is not enclosed at all. This page goes through them one by one, with the walks around them.

Pet-friendly homes: the 45 € per animal supplement

The charge is the same everywhere: 45 € per animal, payable on the booking page. Our stays were thought out for them too. You will find bowls and treats waiting for every booking that includes at least one animal.

A holiday with your dog: fenced, partly fenced or open grounds

Three grounds are fully enclosed: at Saint-Sulpice-de-Royan, a closed 1,800 m² garden, at La Chapelle-Hareng, an enclosed outdoor space, and at Champrond-en-Gâtine, the property's 7 hectares. Two are partly enclosed, and their pages say so in plain words: Le Plessis-Placy and Montereau. That leaves Saint-Amarin, whose ground is not fenced: the chalet opens straight onto the valley, which is what makes it beautiful and what calls for extra care.

A country house with a dog: the surroundings are essential

A stay with a dog is decided outdoors as much as indoors. At La Chapelle-Hareng, the walking trail starts in front of the house and runs into the Auge bocage, between meadows and village churches. At Saint-Amarin, the trails likewise leave from the house, with the GR 532 fifteen minutes away. At Champrond-en-Gâtine, the GR 35 passes through the village, in the heart of the Perche regional nature park; the property's 7 hectares are shared with percherons and ponies, which is worth anticipating before anyone is let off the lead. At Le Plessis-Placy, the Grand-Voyeux nature reserve unrolls 240 hectares of ponds and reed beds, and the towpaths follow the Ourcq canal. At Montereau, the house sits at the forest's edge, the trails reachable from the park. And at Saint-Sulpice-de-Royan, the Royan beaches are fifteen minutes away: check their seasonal rules before you take your dog there, they differ from one commune to the next.
