Villas with a heated indoor pool

A truly private indoor pool remains rare among holiday rentals in France. Here, the pool is inside the house, reserved for its occupants, and each of the three addresses has its own atmosphere.

A private heated indoor pool, all year round

Three houses, three ways to swim. At Saint-Amarin, the water is at 28°C and the floor-to-ceiling windows look out on the Vosges ridges, with a counter-current lane for those who clock up lengths. At La Chapelle-Hareng, the pool occupies a heated veranda where the light comes in from every side, facing the farmhouse and the Norman garden. At Champrond-en-Gâtine, the heated pool has its own room within a 330 m² Percheron farmhouse, and the weather makes no difference there. In all three houses, no slot to book and no compulsory swim cap: you swim when the household decides.

An indoor-pool weekend, even in January

With a pool under your roof, Saturday's programme no longer depends on the sky. A morning in the water, then each house has its own set of activities for what comes next. At Saint-Amarin, an indoor sauna, a hammam or the outdoor jacuzzi at 37°C, with the Alsace wine route twenty minutes away for the afternoon. At La Chapelle-Hareng, the sauna extends the swim, and Deauville is three quarters of an hour away if the sea air calls. At Champrond-en-Gâtine, you warm up in front of the tower fireplace before dashing off to see Chartres cathedral, 35 minutes away. Enough to fill a winter weekend without checking the forecast even once.
