Every year the same conversation opens in November: what are we doing for New Year's Eve? And every year it closes, too often, on the default option, a dinner that runs out of steam before midnight. Here is how to decide early and better: ten ideas that give the night a real backbone, and the logistics to match.
The venue first: it decides everything else
A good New Year's Eve rests on a simple trade-off. The restaurant brings the menu and the service, but imposes its schedule and its per-head bill.
